So, the wedding day is approaching. Planning is pretty much finished. It’s time to start celebrating! Showers are next on the list, and you want to do something extra fun and unique. It can be hard to be different when bridal showers are happening every weekend, but don’t worry! We’ve done our research, and we’re excited to share six bridal shower themes you’ll love.
1. Bridal Brunch
While this idea isn’t necessarily new, we’re seeing more and more brunch themed wedding festivities lately, and we’re here for it! In our opinion, breakfast food and mimosas can’t be beat. Plus, you don’t have to go with specific colors or themes for the decor. You have the freedom to be creative!
2. Park Picnic
If you haven’t heard about this trend, you’re missing out! Companies like Gather Picnic Co. and Pretty Luxe Picnics are serving up custom, luxury picnics in the Atlanta area. You’ll choose a location and a theme, and these companies will set up the prettiest picnic you’ve ever seen. For food, we suggest one of the up and coming charcuterie vendors, such as Graze Atlanta or Board + Vine. Your shower will be totally blog worthy!
3. Wine Tour
You may not know this, but some of the best wineries in the southeast are right in your backyard. North Georgia wine country is fabulous and growing all the time. You can research places similar to such locations and book a private wine tour (if interested, check out Napa Valley Wine Tours here). It could be an excellent way to get away with your girls and celebrate your upcoming wedding. Companies like VIP Southern Tours and Dahlonega Wine Tours can pick you up in a comfortable, climate controlled bus and take you to wine tastings throughout the mountains. Most of these packages include lunch. That would be the perfect time to open gifts and get some marriage advice from your favorite people.
4. Cooking Themed Shower
If you love to cook, why not base your entire shower on that? A cooking class would be a great way to learn something new and bond with your tribe. Set up a “guest book” for your guests to write down their favorite recipes. You’ll love pulling them out as a newlywed cooking for your new husband.
5. Coffee Themed
Have you noticed all the coffee shops popping up in our area? It’s so exciting! If you’re a coffee lover, we suggest renting out your favorite local coffee shop, or a section of the shop. Have a cappuccino and some pastries and just have a relaxing morning celebrating the big day.
6. Jack and Jill Luau
We had to give you at least one option that could include the guys. A luau is a great way to have a coed shower. Gather at the pool with hula skirts and leis, enjoy fried pineapples and fruity cocktails with little umbrellas, and fill the next few hours with love and laughter.
In the end, it doesn’t matter what kind of shower you have. The important thing is that you’re celebrating the next great adventure of your life. This really goes without saying, but The Corner District would love to help you plan and host your bridal shower. Contact us to see what we can offer!
